MOSHE FELDENKRAIS (1904-1984)
Born in Belarus, Moshe Feldenkrais graduated in engineering at the Sorbona University in Paris. His professional background includes top qualifications in both Paris and London. He was the first black karate belt in Europe.
Due to an accident occurred to his knee, he focused his studies on the movements of the body which he approached by combining different scientific disciplines.
He developped his method of sweet and gentle movements by combining principles taken from his studies of neurology, anatomy, biology, biomechanics, psychology, pedagogy and several physical techniques.
